Damien Scott (ex SKYCIG) is the sixth senior executive to join Gamucci this year
The UK's fastest growing electronic cigarette brand has further strengthened its management team with the appointment of Damien Scott as Brand Manager.
Damien was previously the commercial manager with electronic cigarette brand SKYCIG, where he spearheaded the company's early market success. He was subsequently responsible for SKYCIG's offline brand strategy and public reputation.
Damien's appointment follows the hiring of five senior executives earlier this year, who are leading Gamucci's expansion. Until now the company has recruited from the tobacco industry and Damien is the first executive to join from a rival electronic cigarette brand. Gamucci is intending to appoint a number of marketing professionals in the coming months to support the continued growth of the business.
There are now an estimated 1.6 million people using electronic cigarettes in the UK, while the industry is worth at least $3.5bn globally, according to Euromonitor International. Gamucci is experiencing year-on-year growth of more than 2,000 per cent, according to Nielsen.

Last month, Gamucci unveiled the world's first custom-built electronic cigarette airport vaping zone, located airside in Terminal Four at Heathrow Airport. The Gamucci Zone is the first airport venue to offer a designated indoor area where passengers can enjoy electronic cigarettes. It can be found in the International Departure Lounge next to luxury brands and duty free stores, with entry restricted only to those aged 18 and over.
