UnconIned Agapians
Adapting to continue to support our customers: this is our added value. When telework could not be applied, some Agapians continued their on-site activity and had to com-pletely adapt their work methods and habits. Their Lawless commitment to society and their implication made it pos-sible to ensure the continuation of many projects.
Solidarity Agapians
Over the past few weeks, we have understood the impor-tance of staying united. Helping and supporting others is more important than ever. Blood and platelets donations, food distribution.... During this conînement period, seve-ral Agapians mobilized themselves to help others and act against COVID-19. Well done!

Meetings, appointments, interviews... all our habits have been turned upside down. But even conîned, the teams were able to remain mobilized to ensure the continuity of activities: - guarantee 100% response to our customers’ consultations - set up daily reports to ensure the smooth continuity of ongoing projects - organize regular visio with all teams to maintain the bond that unites us. - Follow the economical and health impact in the company through the daily crisis management committee.

and MOEA. I participate in reaching the construction quality milestones and pre-paring the start of the CVOMR. I put my 40 years of industrial experience in va-rious sectors of activity at the service of this project.
A Concrete Response to Environ-mental Challenges The energy transition law for green growth, adopted by parliament in July 2015, requires a 50% reduction by 2025 in landîll waste. We know about recy-cling glass, cardboard packaging and certain plastics. But as for household waste, it is intended for landîll or burnt for barely a few litres of hot water. Sup-ported by the Sevadec (Calaisis Waste Disposal and Recovery Union), the reco-very centre for residual household waste will mechanically sort this waste which until then could not be recycled and pro-duce energy thanks to an innovative tri-mechanisation process. As a result, the reduction of landîll and greenhouse gas emissions.
Absolutely everything is interesting about this project. I like checking a µ setting on a 22-t machine as much as validating a kinematic sequencing of the sorting chain with the EIA engineer. But also, to tell me that I am helping to pro-tect the environment. And I hope to end my career with a new challenge like this one developed for export.
Marc Polytechnical Engineer Consultant
In a few years, part of the gas that feeds our boilers will come from our peelings and other plate waste. This is the whole project of the Valorisation of Household Waste (CVOMR) under construction in Calais on which Marc, 58, brings his 40 years of industrial experience.
40 Years of Experience Serving the Environment On this construction project, there are 3 main trades: Concrete (Industrial buildings and public works), EIA, and mechanics for which I am the assem-bly and construction manager. My role is to control and qualify the material, construction and assembly require-ments. In addition to my knowledge, I have the support of project engineering

CVOMR. In order to optimise waste ma-nagement, it is necessary to separate the products that are transformable from inert waste (which does not decompose, does not burn) for reinjection into various consumer circuits. The sorting chain has been reinvented and is more incisive in producing derivatives such as town gas or solid fuels for factories. Household waste is recovered in the form of biome-thane injected into the Calais network. Le Monde now produces waste expo-nentially for consumption. But tomorrow, we hope that the consumer/waste ba-lance is in balance.
Recovery of household waste in the form of biomethane. The future rests on preserving the envi-ronment. And waste management is an essential step. Cabinet Merlin is mandated by the MOE to support the construction of the

Use the data to set the price of real estate
PROJEÉCDTISTO
Bouygues Immobilier, a leader in private property development in France and in Europe, has been developing residential, tertiary and commercial real estate projects for its clients for almost 60 years. To study the different projects and orient its marketing strategies, the company relies on its Datalab. A team dedicated to the study of real estate data that Inka, agapian since September 2019, joined as a Data Scientist Junior.
Identify the Levers of Goodwill Within Bouygues Immobilier, the data lab responds to requests related to the data, and in particular, carries out stu-dies of real estate projects (from simple construction of housing to the creation of complete neighbourhoods). These ad hoc studies allow Marketing to deter-mine a marketing price and guide their strategies. The goal is to deîne and analyse the levers of goodwill speciîc to each construction project. In other words, an intrinsic (characteristics of the project ) or extrinsic (characteristics of the location) element that would po-sitively inLuence prices. The data lab thus responds to speciîc requests in-ternal to the company, which facilitates both exchanges and understanding of the issues.
Estimate the Marketing Price I, therefore, have to exchange with se-veral teams with varied characteristics to offer them lines of study consistent with the available data and the pro-ject. Once these axes are deîned, I

perform statistical analyses based on real estate data, and I seek to highlight results that are robust and consistent with reality. I, therefore, seek to quantify each of the levers of goodwill and then apply them to property prices so as to estimate, for a given project and date, the marketing price. It is also essential for me to seek data useful for the study of these projects. It can be geographic data (where are the possible assets?), Economic data (how much are these or that housing, in such or such place) or scientiîc articles on real estate studies. At the end of the study, I present the results and the estimates thanks to vi-sual support which must be both simple and understandable for trades which are not necessarily familiar with sta-tistics, data analysis or even ’computer science.
Each study is different From a technical point of view, the quantity of data analysed requires the use of appropriate tools, in parti-cular Pyspark, which allows paralleli-
sation of calculations and thus avoids time-consuming processes. I also work on a collaborative analytics platform, Azure Databricks, which offers signiî-cant analytical power and the possibi-lity of sharing my scripts simply with my colleagues.
Since the beginning of my mission wit-hin the data lab, I have been involved in a dozen real estate projects. What I like about this project are the challen-ges brought by the speciîcity of each study. Indeed, it is difîcult to automate analysis processes in the face of the complexity speciîc to each request. It is, therefore, necessary to establish road-maps and to exchange regularly with stakeholders. These exchanges are very interesting because they allow me to gain knowledge speciîc to the îeld of real estate and marketing, which, basically, are not part of my specialities.

Leading a Technical Platform
Three projects, three customers, three cities. Elodie, 27, is now responsible for a six-person technical platform at the Thermodyn site in Le Creusot. A rapid assumption of responsibility for this agapienne since September 2017, made possible thanks to its mobility and the skills acquired over the projects.
From Creusot to Ariège, via La Défense During the past three years at agap2, I have been able to discover three cus-tomers and three different cities. The discovery of the functioning of a new company, the speciîcs of its products, its processes, etc. is a motivating challenge. For my îrst project at agap2, I îrst joined the Task Force set up by Areva (now Framatome), on the Le Creusot site. The Task Force was then moved to Defence. I followed suit. This allowed me to evolve within the project, going from writing technical documents to managing subcontracting and piloting projects. At the end of this îrst experience at agap2, I accepted a position as Quality Business Ofîcer at Thermodyn, again on the Le Creusot site, where I implemented actions to improve the review and ac-ceptability of supplier quality documen-tation. A new project, new destination: I then spent four months at Aubert & Duval in Pamiers, in Ariège, as a pilot of a multi-trade group for the resolution of problems (Management of exemptions of parts intended for engines in aero-nautics by example).
agaptualité|n°26 | May 2020
Complete Management of Supplier Quality and Technical Documenta-tion In November 2019, agap2 offered to take responsibility for the technical platform set up at Thermodyn, which designs and manufactures centrifugal compressors and gas turbines for the oil, gas and Navy markets. The techni-cal platform made up of a team of six agapiens, receives and controls all of the supplier’s quality, and technical do-cumentation then performs the compila-tion of this documentation for the issue of customer îles.
The main activity consists of verifying the documentation of the components purchased from different suppliers, as they arrive and therefore, as the machine is assembled (traceability and identiîca-tion of non-conformity). Part of the work is also to be done upstream in order to make suppliers aware of Thermodyn’s quality requirements.
Manage a Technical Platform of Six People The grouping of the documentation acti-vity on a single platform facilitates ope-
rations and improves responsiveness in the event of difîculties. This position also allows me to identify malfunctions and propose solutions. Taking them into ac-count and setting them up is gratifying. I also accepted this challenge because I wanted to acquire more managerial skills.
To manage the team, I set up meetings bringing together the entire platform, which allow discussion on current issues and working methods, as well as proce-dures and checklists in order to make my team more independent. I provide technical training and also make my-self available to answer their questions. A good organisation is essential and practical knowledge that there are many projects to manage in parallel, with in-cessant changes in deadlines.

CSR challenge accepted for the Grenoble agency!
MOMENTSAGAPIENINTSIACTIOVNEFSINÉS
Kasia, silver medallist at the Archery Championships after only three years of practice
So, what will be the next agency to launch?
Aude, Consulting Engineer at agap2 Grenoble, worked for several years in a biology research laboratory. Following an incident, she felt insecure at her workplace and decided to embark on a 360° turn in her career by following a specialised Master in QSE. It was after this Master that Aude joined agap2 Grenoble. After a îrst QSE project at Teledyne E2V, the team proposed to Aude to develop the QSE subject within the agen-cy. Creative and very committed, Aude agreed to take up the challenge and launch a CSR challenge for the entire Grenoble team. The concept? Every month, the whole agency is mobilised around a CSR action. And it was the teams that voted to select the main areas of development for the year: well-being at work, mobilisation of consultants in intercon-tracts, waste sorting and sustainable mobility.
Among the actions already carried out, Aude established a îrst carbon assessment of the Grenoble Agency via an online questionnaire, set up the recycling of coffee grounds (edible mushrooms are now growing at the agency!), Set up sorting of waste (in collaboration with the city) and setting up a “clean ¼ hour” to be done every month. And that is just the beginning! Congratulations to all the agencies that we will follow very closely because it is all these actions, put an end to end, that will make the difference.
The Moroccan landscapes are just incredible! The mountains, the Atlas, the dunes, the desert … there is so much to see; I really took my eyes off it. The 4L Trophy showed me the strength of a spirit of solidarity. We were all together to meet the populations who eagerly awaited the school supplies given by the partici-pants during the raid.
“I started archery only three years ago, thanks to my companion. He introduced me to his coach who saw potential in my long arms. So, I started training and competitions. Preparing for championships re-quires discipline, perseverance and knowing how to manage your time. I train 4 to 5 times a week. I start working earlier in the morning, so I do not get to training too late. My level is improving with the competition; it was extremely rewarding to reach the podium last summer at the IFAA Outdoor Swiss Championships, after two days of competition. My main objective is to continue to progress. I am still learning and improving, so I am really looking forward to the next season. And I look forward to the day when I can înally beat my mate!“
The 4L Trophy experience is also a lot of personal investment. It took us almost one year to properly prepare for the adventure. Sometimes difîcult moments, during which we can lose hope, have the impression that the car will never be ready on time… You should know that two weeks before leaving, Ginette still had not the engine reinstalled! The lesson to remember is that you should never give up. We have to go to the end of things, even if doubt can sometimes reach us”.
Three countries crossed, twelve days of immersion to disco-ver Morocco, orienteering tests at the foot of the Sahara dunes and a 48-hour marathon stage on their own before returning to Marrakech. This is what Elena, a business engineer in Stras-bourg, who freed the adventurer who was sleeping inside her to embark on the adventure 4L Trophy 2020 last March: “I have been marked at every stage of the adventure. From looking for the car to our return from Morocco in 4L … and in 30 hours! The preparation of the car was the most interesting passage techni-cally. We were going from far away with Ginette, our 4L bought from a farmer near us. She had not been driving for over a year. But we are immensely proud of the result and of our Ginette which was fantastic during the 7000 km covered! Some techni-cal problems at the start of the raid, but we stopped every 100 km to check if everything was going well under the hood.
Kasia, Consulting Engineer in Zurich, won a silver medal at the last National Archery Championship in Switzerland. She tells us about her meteoric rise in this discipline:
CÉLDIEITNOT EXPERIENCE
Information sharing, at the heart of the SCORPION program
As part of the Army 2020 strategy, the SCORPION program aims to modernise the main equipment of land units in order to adapt to new tactical challenges. At the heart of this new program, a single information system will be deployed: SICS. This command and control system 4.0 developed by Atos, will beneît from the best of the defence and IT world. Interview with our client, Project Director at Atos.
What is the new Combat Information System SCORPION (SICS)? And when will it be deployed? L.R.: SICS is a unique command and information system that will equip new army platforms. It allows to digitally share all the tactical information avai-lable on the battleîeld, and in particular the positions of the units thanks to the lo-cation of friends via “blue force tracking”. In short, communication will be faster between all levels of the chain of com-mand. Several technical versions have been developed. The îrst deployable version is delivered and in the process of acceptance. She will be deployed to French land forces in 2021.
What solution is the SICS based on? L.R.:relies on Bull BMS. The Bull SICS Battle Management System (BMS) is a complete solution which optimises the sharing in near real-time of land and air-land combat information, at the level of the whole battalion (in the command post, inside vehicles and by soldiers di-sembarked) and on all missions. A single system (which will replace the îve ter-minal systems currently existing) within battalions for all levels of the chain of command and for all trades. This allows mission information to be shared effec-tively, even in degraded network condi-tions.
agaptualité|n°26 | May 2020
What were the army’s needs in terms of equipment modernisation? L.R.:The SCORPION project aims to mo-dernise the combat capabilities of the French army around new equipment equipped with the SICS information sys-tem. This program will allow the army to maintain its operational superiority. Eve-ryone can focus on their mission while beneîting from the power of digitisation. Thus, the system considerably accele-rates decision-making and prioritises action. Sharing tactical information in reLex time gives the battalion a gain in terms of autonomy, responsiveness and protection.
Why did you choose agap2 to support you on this project? L.R.:agap2 was able to meet our ex-pectations by offering us a proîle cor-responding to the position, both on a technical level and on a human level (ability to integrate a team of twenty people). For Atos, the SICS program mobilises a team of 135 people spread over several sites (Aix-en-Provence, Six Fours, Les Clayes-sous-Bois).
agap2 Expertise
Jordan, Qualiîcation Engineer, joined the project in December 2019. He has an essential role in the system validation, currently in testing phase.
My role on the qualiîcation team is to test the SICS sys-tem on target stations that are identical to those in military vehicles in the îeld. The goal is, before deploying the solution, to report bugs or possible mal-functions to the development teams in order to correct them and thus improve reliability and user experience.
I can thus see, with each new version of the system, the im-provements and new functio-nalities implemented. It’s very motivating, as is working on a concrete project that will soon be used on mission by our French military.
