The increase in overall energy harvest is achieved through a panel-matching basis, where each inverter is attached to individual modules connected in parallel. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is done on a panel level, which results in the optimal performance of each module. This ultimately lowers the energy cost incurred by the consumer. Enecsys has essentially redesigned the micro inverter, eliminating life limiting components, such as electrolytic capacitors.
