Purpose
This guide provides information that you need to migrate users, groups, roles, and repository
content from the following products to Hyperion System 9 Shared Services™ and Hyperion
System 9 BI+™ Repository. Hyperion supports migration from the following product
versions:
● Brio Portal™ 7.0.5 or later
● BrioONE™ (Brio Portal™ 7.0.5 or later and Brio OnDemand Server™ 6.6.4 or later)
● Brio Intelligence Server™ (Brio OnDemand Server™ and Brio Broadcast Server™ 6.6.4 or
later)
● Hyperion Analyzer™ 6.5, 7.0.1, 7.2, or 7.2.1
● Hyperion Performance Suite™ 8.x

This guide is for administrators responsible for understanding the migration process. The
guide assumes familiarity with products, distributed computing environments and
terminology, server management, Web servers and servlet engines, and the Microsoft Windows
or UNIX operating system or both.
