INFORMATION SHEET AUDITING A COURSE AUDITING STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES Complete the Audit form with required signatures and submit to Admissions and Records (5) five days following the last day to add the course. An individual “auditing” a course is a “guest” in the class and is held to the Student Code of Conduct guidelines listed in the 2010-2011 Catalog on page 23. The individual is not required to purchase a textbook or supplies for a course being audited. The individual is not required to attend course regularly. The individual is not required to participate in course. An “AU” will be listed as a grade for the auditor. The mark is not included in any grade point average calculation. Auditing a course does not fulfill prerequisite, since no grade is issue. FACULTY REPSONSIBLITIES FOR AUDIT STUDENTS Assignments are not required from auditors All Student Code of Conduct Standards are applicable to auditors Faculty members are not responsible to provide office hours to auditors No homework should be corrected or reviewed ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT AUDITING A fee of $15.00 per unit will be charged to audit a course. Students may not audit any course more than three (3) times. Students enrolled as auditors shall not
be permitted to change their enrollment in the course to receive credit.

Enrollment Services

This form is due no later than 5 days after the last day to add the class.
Individuals wishing to audit a course may do so with the approval of the instructor of the course and the Division Dean in
which the course is offered.
Priority is given to students seeking credit for the course; those who are seeking to audit the
course are accommodated on a case by case basis and only if room allows.
Approval to Audit a course will be at the discretion of the instructor and the Division Dean.
Permission to audit may be
obtained after the last day to add a course and the deadline is 5 days after the last day to add a course.
A separate form
must be filed for each course to be audited.
Official records are not maintained for audit enrollments

Non-student auditors who wish library privileges may receive them by completing the required library application at the
Library Circulation Desk.
Labs connected to courses may or may not be available to non-student auditors.
Students should confirm what the policy is
with the instructor or Division Dean.
All auditing students are required to purchase a parking permit.

A $15.00 per unit will be charged to audit a course. Payment should be made in the Bursar’s office on the first floor of the
Donald & Peggy Cravens Student Services Building.
This form will be stamped
paid
and forwarded to Enrollment
Services. You will then be notified by email when enrolled in class or classes.
This form will not be
accepted after

in box 1 below.
