INFORMATION SHEET AUDITING A COURSE AUDITING STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES Complete the Audit form with required signatures and submit to Admissions and Records (5) five days following the last day to add the course. An individual “auditing” a course is a “guest” in the class and is held to the Student Code of Conduct guidelines listed in the 2010-2011 Catalog on page 23. The individual is not required to purchase a textbook or supplies for a course being audited. The individual is not required to attend course regularly. The individual is not required to participate in course. An “AU” will be listed as a grade for the auditor. The mark is not included in any grade point average calculation. Auditing a course does not fulfill prerequisite, since no grade is issue. FACULTY REPSONSIBLITIES FOR AUDIT STUDENTS Assignments are not required from auditors All Student Code of Conduct Standards are applicable to auditors Faculty members are not responsible to provide office hours to auditors No homework should be corrected or reviewed ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT AUDITING A fee of $15.00 per unit will be charged to audit a course. Students enrolled in classes to receive credit for 10 or more semester credits units shall not be charged a fee to audit three or fewer units per semester.
