The ILC is the proposed+ −next generation e e collider to explore the physics at the Terascale. At the ILC with itswell-definedinitial stateofcollisions, possiblediscoveries attheLargeHadronCollidercanbeverified and studied more accurately. It is expected that the precision measurements of theILC will answer many fundamental questions about the universe, such as the generation ofparticlemassesandtheoriginofelectroweak spontaneoussymmetrybreaking. Theambitiousphysics goals present challenges to the ILC detectors. Several detector concepts have beenproposed in recent years.
