The Paleo diet is perhaps one of the most effective and beneficial diets
that is currently available today. Not only will the Paleo diet help to
detoxify your body, and the medical evidence is stacking up that the
Paleo diet and Paleo lifestyle may just be the single best decision that
you make in your lifetime.

Unlike the numerous yo-yo diets that exist in the dieting industry, the
Paleo diet really delivers. This includes efficient weight loss, more
muscle, better skin quality, enhanced digestion, a stronger immune
system, and the list continues to grow.

The Paleo diet may also be one of the most effective ways to deal with
any of the numerous millennial diseases that are exploding across the
world.

With improved health and wellness, disease reduction, disease
prevention and a sleek and attractive body, who else wants to try the
Paleo diet, forever? In this guide, we will discuss just about everything
you need to know to see if the Paleo diet is all you hoped it would be
and even more!

Warmest regards,

Stefani Ruper

Since the dawn of time men and women have hunted and gathered
for food. In ancient times people specialized in mostly wild animal
meat, nuts and other foods that could be found in wild nature.

They fought off wild animals and if they caught meat for the day the
whole tribe ate, otherwise the ancient people sought out berries and
nuts to feed upon for the day.

This is the premise of Paleo eating and in the harsh environment of
that time, if men didn’t hunt no-one ate and it was that simple.

Paleo has been known by other names such as Caveman diet or Stone
Age diet and this type of eating plan is not complicated; but does
require people to pay attention to their consumption of certain foods.

The Native American Indians are a good example of Paleo eating
because they relied entirely on nature to supply food to their tribes.
They were hunters and gatherers which meant they also moved
around frequently into areas where game could be hunted, like
buffalo and deer.

There were no goats or cows available for drinking milk, so they
mostly relied on wild bird eggs for other sources of protein. Humans
did not farm 10,000 years ago and it wasn’t until we learned how to
milk these animals, did we start drinking milk from them. Before that
time, the only milk that was consumed was for children who drank
breast milk from their mothers.

While most of us will agree that Paleo man had a rough life, they also
lived a fairly healthy one. They were stronger, they moved a lot more
than modern man and they did not have health issues such as diabetes
and obesity.

They did not consume any sugars or dairy and most of the time their
bodies were muscular and fit. They were able to travel long distances
because of the protein sources they consumed, which gave them
stamina and strength.

Paleolithic man travelled on foot and roamed vast spaces always
looking for food. The people who lived near lakes, rivers and oceans
mostly ate huge amounts of fish and shell fish. They gathered muscles
and oysters from rocks and took eggs from birds that nested in
sanctuaries near the waterways.

Paleolithic people also consumed vegetables, fruits and herbs through
roots and leaves they found. The women in the tribe would spend
most of their day gathering nuts, fruits and berries which would grow
wild. There were risks associated with berry picking because predators
like bears were always a cause for concern. The competition for these
foods was high as wild animals foraged and ate the fruits that Paleo
man did.

If there are still modern practices that have been followed by Paleo
ancient roots, it would have to be seen in the Aboriginal and African
tribes. Many of these native people still hunt for grubs and wild root
vegetables today.

Most Paleo people never ate potatoes, grains or dairy because if they
did, these foods affected their digestive tracts so much that they
would often grow sick. Once a food made the tribe sick, they usually
would not eat it again.

The Paleolithic people did not eat sugar but rather looked for honey
from wild bee colonies. While these people did not have sugar at their
disposal, they did have natural sweet plants available to them (called
Stevia and Agave nectar) which they picked in abundance.

These people maintain vibrant health and were almost never
overweight or had any of the illnesses that modern society does.

The human body was created to be strong, muscular and healthy. We
were supposed to live long, healthy lives and watch generations of
children sprouting up around us.

We know from ancient historical records and the bible speaking about
long lived men and women that we died past 100 years once. Other
modern medical tests such as those performed on Egyptian mummy’s
can determine age and health problems. So we are aware from this
type of documentation, we also lived fairly healthy lives.

There is no doubt the human body was made to live longer, remain
healthier and stay younger, so why isn’t that happening anymore?

What Changed?

I would like to encourage people to watch this video I have linked
below. It is about one hour in length but there is good information in
it. Just listen to how John Durant who wrote The Paleo Manifesto
explains how this all works with Paleo: https://youtu.be/DYif6gXjEn4

From Paleolithic man to our modern society, John explains why
humans can’t agree on what is healthy for us anymore. He also talks
about why Paleo is needed for a healthier society, to rid ourselves of
diseases like diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
