Press ReleaseOrganic Food is on the Rise/Millennials are Driving This Trend Eating Whole and Healthy The Growing Popularity of Organic Foods
Not too long ago, organic foods were only available at specialty locations. Stores like Whole Foods and small organic shops were the only places to buy these products, making accessibility difficult for a large portion of consumers. Today, however, the availability has gone up significantly. People can now purchase organic foods from stores like Walmart and from many local restaurants and chains, making it easier to eat whole and healthy. The growth in availability is thanks to the rising popularity of these foods. People are choosing to eat them over the non-organic foods on a daily basis. Of all of the consumers, Millennials are the ones pushing this movement forward. The Start of Organic
Organic foods, like organic chocolate, grew in popularity and consumption because people began to understand some of the environmental harms of non-organic foods. People learned of the processes and chemicals that went into producing the average food, and how these things could harm both the health of the consumer and the environment. Organic foods rose up as an alternative, promising simpler foods with the nutrition and taste you expect. It takes out the unnecessary steps that could cause harm without taking anything from the food; in fact, it adds to the food by keeping everything simple.
The problem was that availability remained limited for a long time. You could, potentially, find local stores or stores online that offered organic options. However, it depended on your location and the amount you were willing to pay. Not every location has organic shops, even today, and the number was much smaller years ago. When organic foods were on the rise, only major cities had large selections. If you lived in a smaller city or town, you did not have any choice in the matter. Finding an online chocolate shop or going out of your way were your only options. Enter the Millennials
Millennials got behind organic foods in a big way. They read up on research and facts behind the food they eat and realized there was a better optionorganic. Millennials fell in love with the simpler, higher quality, and overall better foods that you get when you buy organic. It allowed Millennials to separate themselves from everything associated with non-organic foods while also helping themselves and the environment somewhat. The satisfaction that comes with buying organic was a big enough boost to get retailers’ atteŶtioŶ. It is why you ĐaŶ ďuy orgaŶiĐ ďulk ĐhoĐolate without speŶdiŶg a ridiĐulous aŵouŶt.
On the Rise
Retailers saw that consumer demand was going up. As they do, they began to follow the money, which meant stocking organic foods. These days, it is not just Whole Foods and other specialty shops doing it; you can find organic foods almost anywhere. Organic chocolate is available at stores around the corner in nearly every city. You can also buy at an online organic shop easily. Finding and buying these products is easier today than ever before. Millennials pushed for this change because they wanted to do better for themselves, for the environment, and for the future, and they did that.
The buying of organic foods continues to go up. Consumers prefer the health and other beneficial factors that come with buying organic, and they have become loyal consumers. The widening range of products makes this accessible and manageable, too. A person can eat a wholly organic diet without too many restrictions or limitations. The ability to buy organic bulk chocolate, buy from anywhere at any time, and get the exact products desired makes this possible for everyone.
