Instant-Activity Kits
Classroom Suite
includes 30 instant-activity kits. Each
kit includes an Activity ready for students to use, a
Template ready for teachers to create additional similar
activities quickly, and a PDF file of this tutorial.
Easy Storybook
The Easy Storybook instant-activity kit includes the
Easy Storybook Aquarium activity, the Easy Storybook
Template, and a PDF file of this tutorial. You can find
these components by opening the Language Arts
Templates folder and then the Storybooks folder in the
New area of
Classroom Suite
.
The Easy Storybook Template can be used to create a
storybook or student picture journal. Students use the
pictures on each page as a stimulus for writing. The
text they type on the page can be read aloud by the
computer or students can record their own voices
reading the text. Completed storybooks can be printed
or played as slide shows. Three sets of pictures have
been provided, or you can import your own.
In this tutorial, you will start by exploring the Easy
Storybook Aquarium activity. Later in the tutorial, you
will learn to create customized storybook writing
activities, using the Easy Storybook template.
Universal Design
The activities you create using the Easy Storybook
Template and
Classroom Suite
are designed for all
students, including those with physical or cognitive
disabilities.
