Nell'ambito del lavoro di ricerca relativo·alla convenzione CECA
6210-EA/4/401 è stato realizzato e provato il prototipo di un dispositivo
di raffreddamento accelerato, montato all'uscita del treno finitore del la­
minatoio per nastri di media larghezza dello Stabilimento Italsider di Bagno
li.
I rilievi in linea hanno permesso di determinare le caratteristiche
di funzionamento di tale dispositivo che appare potenzialmente applicabile
in vari settori dell'area laminazione.
E' statua inoltre sommariamente valutata l'economia realizzabile su
un moderno treno per larghi nastri a caldo, sfruttando un tale tipo di raf­
freddamento sulla via a rulli di uscita.
E' risultato che il tempo di avvolgimento dovrebbe ridursi da 10
a 20 secondi.
